Dramatic Tones make for this interesting and eye-catching pair of Handmade Glass Enamel earrings.
Our earrings are made by firing glass enamel powders and aglass elements to copper pieces. We place a backing of enamel on each piece, which is called the "Counter Enamel". The piece is fired in our Enameling Kiln at around 1500 degrees Fahrenheit. The piece then has the enamel placed on the front and fired again. Following that, the earrings receive additional layers of enamel and glass pieces or components to create their unique looks.
Our solid sterling silver ear wires are hand formed by us. We hand cut lengths of sterling silver wire from our spool, hand form them into the desired shape, hammer them for strength and tumble them in our jewelry tumbler for shine!
